Ritu Ghai is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB), regulated by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and licensed in April 2026. As an RCIC-IRB, she is authorized to appear before appeal boards and tribunals, including the Immigration and Refugee Board. Ritu practices across the full range of Canadian immigration matters, including Permanent Residence, spousal sponsorship, work permits, Humanitarian & Compassionate applications, Temporary Resident Permits, Procedural Fairness Letter responses, and refugee matters.

Prior to immigration law, Ritu built a career spanning more than twenty years in editorial, media, and digital communications, working across print, radio, and television in India. That experience sharpened her ability to translate complex information clearly, build trust with diverse audiences, and communicate effectively under pressure. These are the very skills she now brings directly to the immigration files she manages. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law (GDipICL) from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, along with a postgraduate qualification in Mass Communications from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India.

Ritu has also been active in community advocacy work in Calgary, particularly in support of newcomers and underrepresented groups.

Ritu is able to assist clients in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

When not working, Ritu is fond of travelling, and watching the sunset is among her favorite activities.
